Hi. Got my OBDELEVEN today but no activation code in the package. Am I missing something? Does it come separately?

Is it not on a sticker on the package ? And did you buy the pro version? No sure you get an activation code with the non pro version.

Thanks for quick reply, yes it was pro version (54.99€) and had no sticker on the package . Looks like I will have to contact them, how annoying.

Also I was out and about today and heard the concierge locking up an M3 in the hotel. They were confused by the audible sound because it was the double beep horn lock/unlock. It was on a side laneway, the hotel turnaround, and was quite a noise. I'm glad mine is off because I don't have the chirp sound.

Could anyone tell me if its possible to change the sensitivity of the rear view mirror auto dim? or change it so that its either on or off with the button on the mirror?

I know when its dark the mirror works well and will dim when someones lights are too bright/in full beam but the other day it was still pretty light out and someone had their beams on full and it was distracting, even tried to signal them to turn them off but no joy

or does this mean there is a problem with my mirror?

I don't think the mirror is connected to the computer therefore I doubt the obd can alter it. I found I didn't need the dimming effect at all after I got the rear window tinted and just leave it off constantly. I think that is the only two options a simple on or off.

looks like i'll be getting the windows tinted sooner than i planned then

If it's not too far for you I would highly recommend Mr tint in Dennistoun. I would also add if your lucky enough to have the sun roof get the sun strip on the windscreen. He also does spy vision on the lights if that's something you'd be interested in. Though be warned I did remove it from my front lights when winter set in. As much as it's road legal I did notice a discernable drop in vision over the winter.

Just got my obd today. Attempted to set the alarm blip when locking got a success notification it took my ten credits. Got out locked the car and nothing. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if it works on the late models. Mine is 2013 and worked fine ...Tried it on my mates 2015 MK7 Golf and got the same result as you . Credits taken and no chirp.
Not sure what's going on.

Mine is a 14. Is this going to be the case with other apps as well? Not sure it was worth the money at this point.

Everything works as intended on mine. It shouldn't matter what year the car is. Give some of the rest a go. Some have reported that mods didn't work immediately but started working later.
