interested in this too. Pressumed i would get slated for meantioning an ebay diff!

Haha obviously not as brave as me! or stupid...

I think they do require some modification to fit.. bolts & bearings

But for that price I dont mind having a little extra work as long as there are a decent quality

Its a Chinese knock-off of a Quaife diff, plenty of threads from jap boys stating they've had to rework the lsd before installing it and then had issues with loose driveshafts and gearbox oil leaks.

Seems to be the general opinion that the earlier ones from 4-5 years ago were actually alright, but the QC has gone downhill a fair bit since then -

You pays your money, you takes your choice...

buy cheap buy twice springs to mind, if a diff was an easy part to fit then it would be worth the risk, but as its a big one it would be better to buy a proven product and fit and forget :), just my advice

i'm sick off the sigma than than far east **** is crap because its cheaper. pure bollocks only comment on your own experiences you can't slated a product you haven't used like all products some will be bad just because its cheap its highlighted more. for instanse i've sin genuine garrett gt35 blow up after 300 miles of abuse and cost over £1500 but no1 will highlight that fact because its a big name. i would speak obx for warranty claims and concerns sometimes

I'm not saying its **** I was just saying I would go with a proven product (personally), if someone wants to be the first to try a new product out then fair enough let them, you never know it mite workout fine and we all will end up buying the cheaper product.

More often than not, when its too cheap to be true, IT IS

The ROC stuff is all too often knock off look a like's of the copies, but they are unlikely to be made to exacting tolerances or quality materials.

buy cheap buy twice is probably a saying originating from ROC sourced products

they create their own "quality image" because they all too often produce knock off copies to the unsuspecting buying purely on price..

Buy one yourself, and report back ;)
It *might* be fine

It takes alot of modifying to fit, its too long across the axle faces and thenw hen you machine it down to fit, you void all warrenty. someone replaced the bolts with higher tensile ones and it worked well after that, but, its alot of work for no warrenty.

but bill can ask where is the jbs k04 manifold made ? cause it interesting what the guy from jbs told me and even more interesting why the inflated price of over £400 notes but because we have to buy it for £400 makes it a quality because us a consumers are being ripped off . beg the question why is forge cores so expensive because they are hand crafted by experts ? i think not but its the best you can buy because its expensive i also think not not it's funny the fact that a £80 ebayer cooler performed better than £500+ forge kit but forge is still better because its expensive

I was told by quite afew people who have brought cheap intercooler from china have all told me the quality of the Ali is very poor, they corrode quickly in our climate, I've got an Alisport intercooler which was hand built because I saw them build it!!!, the Ali is top quality too as its been on for 4 winters now and there's hardly any corrosion!!, it also has beaded pipes to stop the pipes blowing off so easy unlike the Chinese cooler!.
From my PERSONAL experiences I stay away from most cheaper copies and go for the tried and tested route.
What Chinese parts do you have fitted to your car by the way cos it would be interesting to hear

it's just what I've been told and have seen, I take it you run one of those Chinese turbo's then seems you say there's nothing wrong with cheap products
