Odd seatbelt adjustment problem

Been looking at other models on Google and can't find any that have the seat belt receivers like yours. They all appear to be at the same height as each other. Can see another pic here:-

So, I'm thinking that indeed the receiver may have been changed to that of another model at some point? Of course this would mean the receiver is bolted on and not welded as such. However I cannot find any receivers for sale on ebay which is strange, which may possibly say they are welded on...

Redemption, I must say, you've been very helpful and I do appreciate you taking time out to help solve this mystery.

No problem. Might be worth popping into your local dealer to see if they can shed any light on it. Even if it's just to confirm how the receivers are attached and if they're easily replaced or not.

Here we go, picture from rear.

Both seats same distance on sliders however. Note the difference in receiver position, it's 2 - 3 inches further forward on the drivers side and about 2 inches higher.

Weird one?

The position of the seats in that pic show the drivers side with the back rest reclined quite a lot. Is that the position you have it in when you're driving?

The seat has been lowered using the side lever to it's second lowest setting, this gives the impression that the back is 'tipped back'. It is slightly more reclined than the passenger side yes, but not by as much as the picture makes it look (angles on photos can be weird)

Considering that my seat is effectively lower than the passenger then the receiver should be too, which makes the fact that it is still higher, more the stranger...
