Top job! That paint looks so fresh. I'd be getting so paranoid about people knocking or scratching it now!
ive got a car that has some over spray on it and im not sure how to remove it
Clay bar should do the trick. Dad was painting the gates on the house outside and accidently covered his A6 with overspray, could really feel it when washing the car. It felt like you were washing the car with sandy water. But the clay pulled it all out thankfully.

Cheers guys,

Re the over spray. It really depends where it is,

On glass fine wire wool works well. On plastic like arch liners or rubber door seals thinners does the trick. On paint clay bars work well, my overspray flicks inside the door shut only, but we use a product called soft edge masking foam, this stops it covering the inside, you then simply run a buffer over the join to blend both paints together.

Like I say the car won't get touched now, no washing nothing for 4 weeks, then I can flat the paint and get it like glass, it's hard for me as I hate gun finish, and hate waiting even more lol

Cars getting there. The new interior windows came in, diddle to fit and look a lot fresher. Still loving the drive ability of the lcr's power delivery, although I feel updated pads and discs will be along soon.*

Also have a carbon dynamics air box forsale.*

only just seen this Jake! glad your back in an LCR, like somebody else said I'm sure there will be another happy owner by the time you decide to sell it (which you know you will :p)

can vouch for the paint on the white one, still looks as fresh as the day i bought it.. it is off the road at the moment though ;(

I had a new company car forced onto me, couldn't bring myself to sell it so thought I'll just leave it in the garage for a year and spend the money I save on Ibiza with the boys and the wedding fund. Hopefully then by next year I'll be sorted, got my boyish needs out my system and get ready to settle down!! (that's the plan anyway!)

didn't know you had another LCR, looking awesome mate.

hey jake do you remember the paint code you used for this white on your old golf?

Well not much has happened,

Just making the car mint again, previous owner still has the fogs so can fit them, bought new wheel centre caps, still need to paint the wheels

Finally got round to sorting the wheels and brakes.

Prepped the wheels and the masked them up in the booth for paint.

Makes me want anthra wheels again seeing yours all fresh!

Standard suspension is the new 'air'

found i had a big leak coming in from around the glove box, thought it was the drains near the pollen filter, but no, the seal aound the pollen filter had failed and been siliconed badly before, it will not longer leak now though haha

Thanks,

Brembo stickers are now on,

Ordered a double din dash from seat, and have bought an alpine double din unit. Contemplating my sub in the boot too.

I refrbed my brakes about a year ago but may need to do them again when its back on the road.

I was changing the head unit but never got round to it lol. are the double din dashes expensive from seat?
