OEM+ Software - 184 TDI

Hello all,

I have just purchased a 2017 Seat Leon FR ST with the 2.0 TDI 184 engine and DSG box.

I had a search and couldn't find much but wondered if anyone had any experience with the Racingline Performance OEM+ software? It is on offer at the moment at £360.00 at Awesome GTI which is a brilliant price. From what I have read they took over Shark Performance?

Not been in a VAG car for a while so I'm a little out of touch!

Look forward to getting involved on here.

Thanks,

Ben.

Welcome Ben!

I treated my 184FR to a Revo Stage 1 a few weeks ago. They had an end of year sale, so it was only £383. I wanted to stay safe and go with one of the top remap companies. You can remap the DSG to match it. Some say you don't need to bother if you're only going Stage 1, but worth looking into.

What do you think of the Revo remap? I have a 184 TDI, and if I go down the remap route, Revo will probably be what I go for.

I've only used it a few times since it was remapped, but it's a great improvement over stock. It feels odd, in that when you boot it, you don't get the sensation of speed until you look at the speedo! I've noticed that when driving around in 1st and 2nd gear, it's much smoother than before. I've got a Revo SPS switch as well which allows you to switch to and from stock if you want, and also has an anti-theft mode.

Definitely recommend the Revo remap. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the welcome!

I have read a lot about Revo on here and it is an option but having previously used Shark Performance and seen the quality of the Racingline Performance stuff I thought it would be a good option.

I think I'm going to go for it once I get the car and give my thoughts on it. At least it gives other people another option as well.
