Hi did a search first and found nothing comprehensive* on this.

What are the corresponding offsets for;

a) 16"

b) 17"

c) 18"

and finally for if i ever need to know :D

d) 19"

It depends on the width.
If you look at Seat accesories:

7x17 et54
7,5x17 et51

7x18 et54
7,5x18 et51

I´ve got 8x18 et50 and it sits nice

thanks for the info, that's a good help.
next question which audi's and golf's use alloys that will fit the leon?

New shape A3 and mk5 Golf fit nicely. Most of the bigger (newer) Audis also have the same bolt pattern but their offsets are different so they may catch on the arches. Plus they'll hit the kerbs a lot easier!
Also the mk2 Octavia, newer Passats, Eos, Touran, Sharan, Alhambra, new Toledo, Altea etc etc.

Thanks should have no problem getting a cheap set now that i have plenty to shop around for

EH!? Anyone know what the offset is for 7x16" ?

The Wheels from an Audi A5 have an offset of 29, so they'll stick way out of the arches. The standard offset for the mk2 cupra is 50 or 51, as mentioned already. ET45 is a good once to go for, it'll fill the arches nicely.

ET's down to 30 will fit the Mk2 Leon, but i wouldn't really go any lower than a 45.

Im running Oz wheels at 8x18 ET35 with 225/40 18"
They catch the arches if im running faster than I should when cornering, besides that they look amazing

I have just fitted 18 inch borbets for winter. With an et of 35 and 8 inches wide, they perfectly fill out the wheel arches without sticking out. Mines a pre fl cupra.

Has anyone ever fitted 19's? I fancy some ttrs alloys 5x112 offset 45 not sure if they will fit without rubbing
