no idea, may be more, but need to get it hot so can see if gasket does leak or not i would say
15min to get coolant temp to 90, then another 15-30min i think should be plenty

Hi

OK went for a good hour drive, feels OK.
When I got back I scanned the engine for codes and was pleased to see there was none

Then scanned for codes under ABS and got this error:
01314-045 KWP2000 Engine Control Module sporadic 013- check DTC memory??????

Under the readiness test its still showing a fail on Cat, EVAP SYS and SEC Air SYS.

Waiting for it to cool to dip the oil

10 minutes is more than enough for the oil to drain down and for you to dip it.

Hi Lee, nice to hear from you again, I am still fighting with this car LOL

OK I'll go out now and check the oil level.

ABS sensor, could be I guess no lights on the dash on just from this scanner but its new as it was clean before it went in for the gasket!

Hi Lee, the faulty Map sensor one?

OK, dipped the oil and its covering all of the hatched area of the dip stick and no more.
Was quite a bit higher than that before it went in but I am guessing this level is ok?
Its where it was when I got her back this afternoon.

OK, I cleared the ABS code and just took the car from a run around giving it plenty of hard brake action.
Re scanned and no codes.
So maybe its where they had it apart etc? they also checked my OSF brake for me as I was hearing a slight clunk when braking in reverse, no fault found apparently but maybe they upset the sensor.

Have to keep an eye on it, but I would really, really like to just drive this car now LOL

Well I would say

• faulty Map sensor
• Faulty Camshaft Position Actuator

Second item probably connecting with cambelt change. They've done something wrong....

I'd be keeping an eye on the codes tbh.

I never had the cam shaft code however?

Fingers crossed they will stay away.

I am a little tempted to book it in with JKM some when for a check up, fairly confident in their abilities, but its such a pain to get to them from here.

Car went well today, no codes and only one fail on the rediness test.
But I got this from JKM.

Which seems to suggest I keep going for a while and it should all pass

Noticed a slighly more throaty note at speed, its different and if OK would be quite nice
