oil leak

Hi there i,m new to this site just wondering if someone can help ive just brought a 2003 180 cupra mk1 noticed the oil was dirty since changing it i now have a leak ive noticed my dipstick tube is broke at the top would this couse it

Try replacing the dipstick tube, clean all the oil off everywhere it could drip from and monitor it. The dipstick tube is less than £5 new.

Just watch removing the old one, they go brittle as **** and bits can snap off and go down the hole (speaking from experience) would be a good idea to change the oil at the same time just in case. Probably just a drip though, as Hb69 said wipe everything clean and monitor it.

Can leak from the dip stick tube yes, could also be from your oil breathers ect..

best bet is clean it all off and keep an eye on where its coming from..
