Oil temp gauge

Wheres the best place to fit the temp sensor other then needing to drill and weld a nut to the sump.

erm on saxos i had a sandwhich plate on the oilfilter going to an oil cooler with a temp sensor on there

I´ve fitted a temp sensor in the sump plug.

Yea think am gonna have to go down that route, just thot there would be some where in the engine bay or something.

in the oil cooler in the top there is a allen key bolt put it there .. under inlet manifold need to take a few bits off to see it , like engine cover, the plate surrounding the inlet manifold ect ect .. have a look

There´s one blanking plug on the top of the oil filter housing yes. I used this for oil-press and sump for oil-temp, both fitted in the cupra r pod.
