Oil Temp?

My 1.8 has water steady at 90 and oil usually at 104

Checked with dealer, anything below 130 is fine.

Usually 70 C on my 1.4 (Golf mk6). 100 sounds really hot!!

Make sure to check the coolant level...

My mistake - checked this morning again and it's constant at 90 dec C.

Checked the other night on my way home, after a 15 mile run mostly on A roads the digital water temp was 90 degrees and the oil temp was 95 degrees.

This is probably too much information for most but I'm going to tell you anyway

I monitored both coolant and oil temp on the way to work the other day and neither start displaying temperatures until above 50 degrees and the oil temp fluctuates between 90 and 105 during normal driving.

Thanks for posting this, I thought I was going mad, after saying about the oil temp in the dash display, I went out in my Leon tonight, which I just got back after 2 months and thought I'd check the oil temp out of curiosity, its not there?

Its missing from the display?
It was there before and I checked the owners manual as soon as I got back and it shows it in there

Is anyone else missing it from the list?

I've checked the settings on the main display and its not there either

Only just taken delivery, so very unsure of all the techy bits, but you can set which displays are shown on the dash display in the set-up menu on the main screen.
Maybe oil temperature got turned off when you were playing
