Obviously smells of fuel and very thin consistency */ viscosity, cant really smell oil but dont remember finding it last time I did my cam follower *

Oil consumption seems to be fairly high, cant quote measured figures but I assumed it was down to BSH catch can...

Thanks in advance

So does the oil from the oil cap reek of petrol too?

Changed a couple of these now and I don't remember that much oil being present on either occasion. You've got me wandering now tho so I'm going to take mine off again 2mo and have a check! I'll let you know what I find if you want?

Would be good if you can. Seems some CDL engine cars have very smelly oil - as if petrol is getting in to it.

Never herd of any problems with APR pumps doing this across all the usual forums unlike autotech and KMD which have been known to do this and eventually you need a new engine as the petrol thins the oil.

Also APR upgrade all the seals and there hpfp is a fully built unit unlike the other two which just change the internals and still use all the oem seals.

Although ive never had a prblem with my kmd internals i still changed to an APR pump just incase. Also that reminds me i need to get the kmd intenals out my pump sorry Markgb

Revo told me they have known this problem to effect APR pumps too!!!!

P.S. Oil in this area is good Mike. However to say you changed your oil so recently it looks quite dark.
