Funnily enough I did mine on Wednesday, shoulda seen the cloud of smoke that came out after I blatted the inlet with the rest of the can of carb cleaner
To and idiot.....is taking the throttle body off and cleaning it an easy job.
i have visions of me taking it off and then having a pile of car parts all over the place and me never being able to put it back together again.

you dont have to actually take it off.. just remove the hose to it.. grab an old toothbrush, some carb cleaner and some (clean) rag.. give it a damn good clean and put hose back on

There's no F in Quality..
I took it off, its only a throttle cable, 4 allen bolts and one leccy connection
on the 8v there are also two water pipes that connect to the TB.... so these need to be disconnected also
