Anyone who knows what they're doing faffing about with maps should have access to the original map, its not like its an exotic map its a map that was used across a wide range of VAG cars so if he really knew what he was doing surely he would already have access to such a common map?

He is probably right that the map is **** if you bought it off someone on ebay though.

There are good companies on ebay for considerably cheaper than elsewhere, sometimes even using the same map.

Have you contacted the original mapper to see if he has it saved?

Also, depending on how it was mapped (and assuming you have a diesel) the original map may still be on there and possibly switchable.
If you have vagcom, go into engine settings and softcode. Take note of your current code, change the leading 1 (or 2) which I expect is there to a 0 and save. Ignition off, then try it.

Worth a try

he says that they have mapped it as petrol car because they gave more diesel without touching turbo and tourqe settings and secondly he deleted old map thats why i need original one

if you want a standard map, ask seat to reset your ecu to factory settings
probably would charge you though

i would recommend cc tuning (not custom code) he would be able to give a decent map for your car
in burton on trent!
