Sorry to hear that my dear

I can give you the number of the guy I use he is in Sittingbourne and is very good he has done other people on here

He did 2 doors on J@mes LCR for £150

I might need that if it comes to it Tris :)

I finished work early today and drove around Eastbourne getting quotes. Got 11 all ranging between £650 and £800 as they all agreed the front wing and back quarter will need respraying too and it needs a new shell. The quote I got the other day for £450 was just the door panel and pulling the dent out ! Insurance quote is £680 so Im inclined to go through them as I have 4 years protected no claims and will only have to pay my excess. Just means I now have to arrange a date, got a weeks holiday booked next week but, really wanted my car so I could go places.

:(

Sucks !

that door CAN be repaired and the sill needs repairing too! blending the 1/4 panel and the wing is essential! i would get you in at my work but its only insurance work! :(

Thanks so much guys :D I am going to go with the insurance approved bodyshop as I have seen their work and they have a good reputation down here. Its my birthday coming up so my mum and papu are going to give me £200 towards it, which is a good thing but, Im annoyed as I wanted nice things for my birthday :(

you will have a nice shiney new paited side on your car get the holes smoothed or some bits colour coded to make you feel better :)

This is true Rash :D and I might try slipping the guys some extra money to cover up my drunken attempt to repair my scrapes on the front bumper

Car is booked in to the insurance approved bodyshop for the 16th :D wohoo !! Going to try bribing them with some extra cash to do the bumper for me :D Exciteddddddddddd

:( Car car gone away to get better :( Miss her  got my stupid punto to drive about in [:@] yuck !!!

:( Believe me driving around in the punto is a mission, the pedals are too far away and the steering wheel doesnt adjust so Im driving like a granny with the steering wheel in my chest :( Going to walk to the off license - despite the rain !! Dont care.

Hopefully friday, I dont fancy driving to Shoreham airport for a flying lesson on sunday in my punto :( especially with the roadworks at Beddingham.

Flyin glessons, thats pretty cool [B)]

Is it your punto or a loan car? if its yours why do you still have it if you dont like it?

The punto is mine, its a back up car and my mum uses it alot. Its horrible but, as I drive an automatic on a daily basis I try to get out in the punto when I can to remember how to drive a manual. Think I might try what that little guy did in that film with Kurt Russel and tie a few wooden blocks to my shoes.
