Right the head unit is going back as Im utterly confused. I can purchase an iPod adaptor which gives me use of the iPod through the head unit and displays the tracks - thats £70 ! The other option was a AUX cable which would allow me to use the ipod through the head unit but, have to use the iPod to change tracks and see whats playing.
Completely pointless to pay £250 for a head unit and then have to pay an additional £70 on top of that to use the features I purchased it for in the 1st place. So its going back and I have ordered a different one that has an AUX cable in it already and looks easier to install myself. Its a darn site cheaper too so I can save pennies for christmas. It might not been green but, I think I can cope

Completely pointless to pay £250 for a head unit and then have to pay an additional £70 on top of that to use the features I purchased it for in the 1st place. So its going back and I have ordered a different one that has an AUX cable in it already and looks easier to install myself. Its a darn site cheaper too so I can save pennies for christmas. Im sending it back as Im just not going to use half the features on it. I turn my phone off when Im driving so I wont be using the bluetooth. Picked up the pressure switch and fitted that so my brake lights are working now And my car has some new skullies
