but on your order sheet it says options xyz?

that's like filling your trolley up, and the checkout girl putting some of it aside once it's been through?

True but dealer says front airbag control can only be done at the factory so now too late and the Ipod is the same as we've now lost the aux in..But what can we do other than say get lost and wait another 3 months?? Good thing iwe arent paying for the IPod

Certainly hope all is well with mine when it arrives, couldn't be doing without the airbag disablement, what if I wanted/needed to put the nipper in the front.

Surely this could be retro fitted for you.

Seems a bit daft to supply a free option to add a disabling key? Why not just fit it anyway.

I thought they simply disabled the passenger airbag at the factory. But i was under the impression the dealer could also disable it or re-activate it, but there is a charge associated.

Not 100% sure, but if it wasn't requested, then it would save Seat a little bit of manufacturing cost's???

We wanted the fornt air bag thing and requested it a week or so after our original order..dealer confirmed verbally and in february when we part ex our leons we asked again that all what we requested was done and dealer said yes..Now as the car lands on british soil we are now told it hasnt which apparently the dealer has known for weeks and weeks..Ive asked if they can do the air bag at the dealers and the answer is NO its has to be done in the factory!!!!!

The front air bag in the MK1 was a key de activation in the glove box not sure where it is on the MK2

Just hope we've got bluetooth and convenience pack coz if not we wont be accepting the car and will have to wait again if so will wait till the 57 plate
