Oh my good lord he was not joking......... Im still smiling..... This is a properly sorted car, the engine bay is immaculate. I dont care what people say about Wooshy Wooshy, this is a proper Whooshhhhhhh.
We did a straight swap for the Skoda, plus a few beer tokens, and this was the advert on ebay
1,050Kgs
How did they manage to lose 400Kgs?
That's a huge amount of weight to lose
Top notch find there.
Really needs a cage though then it will the a lean green racing machine
All glass is standard, quite a bit of the front interior still remains, And its got one hell of a sound system !!!!
There is quite a lot of steel strengthening in there, but no cage, so that will have to be on the todo list.. Car is now fully Insured with all mods declared..... Had to email AF will the spec sheet as it was too long to talk through....
yup, I'm a bit sceptical about the weight too TBH.
At that weight you'd expect fibre glass/Carbon panels, poly carbonate windows, zero interior, light weight race/dry cell battery.
Still for the cash sounds like it will be a keeper for a while and be huge fun.
After being in two very highly tuned MK2 Leons I think the induction and exhaust noise can lead to the car feeling faster than a more quiet car.
This being a 360BHP LC not feeling much slower than a 420BHP TFSI
Yeah agree about the weight, there is still alot of crap on the car so must weigh heavier than that.
Also, the Induction noise and "dump" does convince you that you are going faster than you actually are, all i care about is the fun factor, and this definitly does that.....
Oulton Park in January looks like the first outing, with the snow and ice. We are spoilt for choice now, do we take the Pug or lord it in the Audi !
