hi, direct seat who I ordered my fr from are offering Sutherbys protect and shine coating for interior and exterior, they give u a certificate and warranty your paint for 5 yrs [ state u dnt have to polish it again !!] . they have knocked 50 quid off and it now costs 125 quid.
was wondering if anyone has had this done or some similar treatment and what you think of it.

We had supraguard on the FR and Autoglym's Life shine on the reference sport..It does make a difference when u wash the car tho never put it through a car wash after it done..Inside is good as any stains will just wipe off

yeah agreed been discussed before so a search will yeild good results. but breifly i got mine done with Jewelultra Diamondbrite from nearly new and was very happy with it, after about 3 years it had worn off but the first few years it was amazing, needed cleaning less often and when cleaned it glistened very well.

sorry, was hoping for info on this particular make of paint protection and could not find any ref to sutherbys in a search. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

its the same as all the others its just overpriced rubbish, have a look at the detailing section, or e-bay that will confirm just how much profit the dealer is making, believe me i know:rolleyes:

I'd just buy some quality wax's and do it yourself, you'll take more time over it than a dealer, do a better job and really be able to check your car over at the same time. Everyone has their own opinions... You can pay me £250 to do it !

I had AutoGlym life shine applied to my car, or so they said. Been disappointed ever since to be honest. Not worth the money one iccle teeny weeny bit! I got key & tyre protection with the 250 smackers i paid. if I puncture they'll get me a new tyre, if I lose my keys they'll replace them! Thats all well and good, but like I've said the paint protection has not made an ounce of difference to the paint, it needed polishing after about a month as it had worn off. I wrote to AutoGlym and to the dealer where I bought it, got no response. So I called in, oh yeah we'll get a member of staff to call you back, did they? ermmm I'm still waiting for the call, I've had my car since June! The car is great, the paint ain't! :ban: :ban:
