paranoia maybe, but losing power/boost since k+n and dv fitted

had 007 dv and k+n fitted yesterday and maybe its me but i feel the car doesnt pull as well as it did...more at high revs between 5k-6k revs. comes on boost fine and pulls hard until about 5k revs then jus seems to rev without any real power behind it.

ive heard that dv with weaker springs can lose boost and im thinkin it may be that...is that possible? dv has standard green spring.

maybe heat soak or lack of air to the k+n also came to mind.

im open to the fact that it mite just be me getting used to the power of the car compared to my old scooby (which was slow in comparison) but any suggestions would be appreciated.

gettin the car on the rolling road shortly so im sure that would show any problems but would like to know before hand if there is anything it could be.

Strange you say this mate, I had it happen to me when I fitted a 007P and a cold air intake. But for some reason, it sorted itself out after a bit and now runs awesome

ECU adjusts maybe? Good idea to reset the ECU? Just a thought.

when i think about it i kind of think i must be imaging things but im pretty sure its not how it was. i had a mate in the car who has a 330bhp focus rs and he reckons my car pulls well and im just paranoid but i drive the car everyday so i dont know.

i had the battery disconnected the whole time it was being fitted so im sure the ecu is reset and i was expecting no problems but i dont think its quite right.

any other ideas anyone?

booked in to rolling road week on saturday! very excited will put my numbers up - hoping for 260bhp.

also, more importantly i'l see if its still boosting okay.

no one have any other ideas what this is or is everyone just thinkin its all in my head?

my neighbor set up a pond a few years back, i could hear the trickle in the night and was adamant he was nicking our water!! (obviously he wasn't)
