Hi All

I have just recieved my New Leon Cupra in Black ordered in Jan, it is possible to fit parking sensors. I am told that Seat do Front and Rear. Can someone confirm that this is possible.

I will post some pictures of my new baby shortly.

:) :)

Cool. lookig forward to pics.

Yes sensors can be fitted. Check out seat.co.uk and the accessories page.

You're looking at about £200-£250 painted and fitted for the rear ones.

My rear's were factory fitted but never heard of front sensors for the Leon though. Seen them on other cars but not on a Leon as a factory option. Should be able to get an after market solution though.

I think there was a problem with FR bumper shape which means the factory fit ones won't fit. Not sure if Seat have resolved this yet or whether it affects the Cupra too.

There's a guide on here on how to retro fit an after market kit or ask the dealer if it can order the Seat kit and fit them for you. I'm sure they could

You can see the sensors a bit closer on this one. 4 of them run along the back bumper

Thanks for posting the pic's. :D

It look's like the spacing isn't equal in that there seems to be more gap between the middle two sensors then a smaller gap to the ends.

Is this the case or just the piccie?

I'm after a factory fit look.

Sure it comes from the mailn box, that's mounted into the boot.

How about on factory fit?

I ask, only as the C4 we have the beeps come from the speakers, not only that but the beeps come from the side that the obstacle is on (i.e. left or right), or all the speakers if its directly behind :)

There factory fitted on my Bora, and the beeps are emitted from the boot area.

Maybe this is a new thing that's on your C4.

Not sure.

But I am sure after seeing the pic's on the Seat Accessories site that the ones fitted to the Seat's will produce a noise from the boot ares, unless you mount the speaker into the cabin??? there is a small speaker that plugs into the control module by the look of it
