Hi folks,
Last weekend I sold my Leon Cupra VT privately, today I've had a call from the new owner telling me the PAS has failed and that the car is undrivable. He's had it to the closest place that could look into it (unfortunately that was National Tyres).
One of the mechanics at NT has said the gaskets have failed and leaked the fluid out. They cannot repair for obvious reasons.
Now I have to go pick it up and have it repaired. Can anyone tell me if this is a common fault and if it's going to be expensive to fix?
Quick replies will be much appreciated, I'm working Monday so I've got to sort it ASAP.
