Passenger door not locking

Hi . Would really appreciate some help. After my passenger side electric window broke the garage ( which has now ceased to trade ) fitted a new panel . The speaker works as does the electric window but the door will not lock . All wires are connected as they should be . Any idea on this ? .

Fault locks are very common on these cars, all 4 of my doors have replacement locks. A good indicator is when the puddle light in the door doesn't come on when you open it. Here is the guide I used:
