PD130 BLT EGR Blank or Remove it with a allard kit?

as above, shoud i block it off with a blanking plate or remove the whole egr set up and use a allards erg kit??

reason i want rid is that it makes my car sound like a jet at idle when egr opens as i have a straight through pipe with no silencers

Car will then be mapped with a egr delete

You can't map out egr on a blt engine. You can map out the light but then it won't come on if there's any faults at all

If you dont want a light, reduce it with a 9mm gasket and reduce the EGR parameters with VAGCOM. It will still do its job properly, but less gas will be put back into the intake.
