PDF delete and remap

Looking for some help guys, want to get My car remapped but heard there can be troubles with the DPF? What exactly does getting the DPF deleted mean and what does it involve? I'm from edinburgh so can anyone recommend a decent mapper in my area! My car is a 2.0tdi fr 170 Cr.

wouldnt bother getting the DPF taken off, as they're doing visual inspections now apparently.

Something like that. Lol


(DPF delete means having the DPF removed and re-welding/replacing that section with a straight through pipe

The DPF on the CR is fine with stock power, they reckon that it's also fine after a 190-200 remap too so try that first and see if the DPF actually causes a problem.

PDF Delete? locate the file on your machine, highlight it and press delete

DPF delete? The DPF on the CR engine is fine, just get it mapped

DPF! Yeah ave been told that it's good for a map upto about 210 without any problems! Does anyone recommend a mapper in the edinburgh area?

For the CR170 you want REVO software think they have some retailers up your way

Perfect mate thanks. I think there is a revo tuner about 45 mins away will give them a call.
