Is it me or are people asking way too much for the Beeza Cupras?

My mate has just bought an X plate with 50k on the clock for 4.5K and its mint. I thought that was a good deal.

I've been looking around for a nice Ibiza Cupra and cant seem to find a nice one for under 6.5k! Cupra R i seen is going for £8300!!!

Is that a bit much?

I know someone who just bought an 02 Cupra R for 7,3k with only 25k on the clock.

what people ask isn't what they get - and often can't shift the cars.

there is a lot around about 7k. for a 2001 y plate with average miles, car companies say its worth around 5k. but i guess theyre worth what someone will pay?

no just a cupra. i'v tryed putting some photos up it wont let me

thermalp4 was asking why Cupra 'R's are so expensive, as you just said a Cupra can be picked up for £5k now but some loons think a Cupra 'R' is worth £2k/£3k more?

I have seen Ibiza Cupra R's on autotrader for £9,995 with 40k on the clock only 6 months ago! :( ... Is a set of Brembo's / Oz rims / 2 gauges / different remap / R badges really worth 4k more than a standard Cupra?

I wouldn't mind spending 1k more to have a Cupra R as I recently purchased a set of 16" Super T's and the Brembo's would set me back £500 so I would only be £200 from spending £1k anyway.

I dunno
