What a nightmare!
Company I met at Volksfest called performance chips have really messed me around and I now I feel a little stupid as many people suggested that I should of gone with a more reputable company.
So...
I got in contact with superchips today and have to say they were excellent! My re-map with them is booked in for Tuesday morning and they claim I should get 10bhp. Their repuatations seems good and they are only £50 more the tin-pot company I was going to go with!
RR booked for Thursday so will be able to make some interesting comparisons!
Will update on Tues!

I got a price off a SuperChips installer on Saturday for my Ibiza 1.9 TDi and it was £500 and it was only a 30bhp upgrade!!
Yes, I know Superchips had the majority of the market for while so they could charge inflated prices.
Bit like K&N performance filters and Mobil 1. You pay for the name. Green filter and Millers oil are just as good. Good to have some competition. Should help keep the prices down.
Still think £400-500 is too much for a remap, esp when some cheaper ones will be just as good, and these companies will be built up on reputation.
So the car spins around on the spot!! Surely the rollers go in the same direction!! ;-)basically two rollers rotating in opposite directions
quote of just over £200 from p-torque in wolverhampton, can take my 1.4TDI from 75BHP to 100BHP and increase the torgue to 250NMseems good to me
I just got a quote from p-torque in wolverhampton regarding my 2.0 sport ibiza and its £275 in all, it includes a full diagnostics. The results i'd get were - 11bhp increase and 19nm torque - don't know where it's worth it! any suggestions?

not just power increase is gained from a remap its also for drivability and mpg too![]()
