Hi, im looking into buying some personalised number plates for my Ibiza Cupra, found one i really like so decided to look on the net at other similiar plates...i stumbled upon this...

'G6 PRA' now i know this is a touchy subject, but has anyone got any clever ideas on how i can make the 'G' look more like a 'C'.

Im not the kind to break the law, :p but im open to suggestions, i've seen plenty of other plates bending the rules so...

Any suggestions really are appreciated!

i spent absolutely ages looking for that sort of plate when i had mine, gave up in the end, there;s nothing left that would look good without being too obscure.

j4m3s - i wondered where that car got to! Originally owned by mark20vt on here, when i last saw it for sale it had 10,000 less miles on it than when mark sold it (it was on 62k miles when he sold it)? It then had a front end smack by the next owner in scotland (tingtongtec on here) then went to ireland and now i take it you bought it? whats it got to be running 246bhp - must be k03s now then?

I found your plate last night, i am very interested so i did some internet research and found a couple more.
You should have an email from me?

Hooch...Do you actually have that plate text on your car? You ever had any hassle with it?

I've got S80 JPR

I did have the "S" manipulated to look like a 5 so it looked like it read

580 JPR (month and year i was born and initials)

But i've now got German style plates so have had to revert back to an "S" for a while.

I've had that on three different cars now

why not get ur name? and then u can take it with u for the rest of ur life? makes more sense to me :)

Hmm yeh i understand your point, but i would like something that says something...and my name J3MES sells at £124,000 - think i might look rather silly sticking that on a £5k car! Oh and the funds don't quite strech to that amount.

I'm still really tempted by Craig's plate his selling.
I plan on keeping this car a while now while i save up for a house, so...

Friend of mine is called Tim, he was looking at personalised plates a few months back and found T1 MMY for £140,000

Be careful on spacing/making letters look different.

frequently the boys and girls in blue do a crack down when they got nothing else better to do!!!!

i got £30 fine last month for having an Audi badge where the euro GB should have been!!!!

Thats a joke!!
Didn't even know that was illegal tbh!

It all depends how petty and time wasting the officer wants to be!

I used to get stopped all the time in my 106gti, (4times in 4weeks, twice by the same officer was my best run!! lol) and i was never doing nothing stupid. The officer would always point things out, but never fine me!!

I guess i was lucky!
I think my attiude towards the officer always ensures the outcome!

it was the lesser of 2 evils!!!
he was training a new officer and let her make the decision
the other option was £60 fine and three points for a "bald tyre" i dint know i had!! car had only been serviced and MOT'd 3 weeks before.

spose it serves me right for not checking

D11 PRA is £499 on dvla website

a little removal of the middle of the D, and a little dot centre bottom of the 11 and your sorted ;)

Yeh already thought about that mate, thanks though!

The one 'Craig!' is selling is probably more worth the cash as it guarantees no hassle from the police. Im still considering it though.
