We need to get some serious forum action going on this one please mods....

This petition is to save curborough sprint track from being made into an eco-town

This is the ONLY permanent sprint venue in the UK, the only place that can be hired and run midweek for testing and a fantastic place to start sprinting if thats your bag.

And the government want to build a new town on it - instead of using some brown field site somewhere.

Its disgusting and we need to fight it - when courses like this have gone, there will be no new ones as the do gooders in todays society will see to that you, the motorist, dont have any fun !

So please everyone sign this petition to stop it happening

this is britains premier, and only permanent, sprint venue and the government want to build a town on it !

afaik it is still their.

my parents used to moore their canal boat very close to the sprint circuit, so use to go and watch for a while.. havent been up there this year though
