Mate I'm in the West Mids near to Birmingham. The FR is a nice car, quite quick, and I think about average on the fuel for it size and performance.

I get about 34mpg average (according to setting '2' on the computer, meaning average over 10,000 miles), with mostly pretty relaxed driving, a longish commute and the occasional spirited overtake.
Around town in heavy traffic and sprinting between the lights and speedbumps, you'll get around 17-20mpg in my experience.
If hypermiling, you might see 40mpg - but you really have to try hard and be lucky with conditions to get near that.
