It probably will lose a bit of money because of that...

I've had it 3 months, and I intend to keep it for about 2/3 years. With the mileage I do, 20,000ish a year, it won't be worth very much anyway. I'll end up losing possibly £300 of it's value if I sold it for 2k?

On the up side, I'll have had a couple of years of great fun! Well worth the minor losses!

maybe put a zimmer frame in the back, and put some P plates on the back!

haha yeh, and wen u get the chavs pull up at the lights, hve a big thick set of glasses (as in steve davis thick) in the door to wear, roll your seat forward and hunch yourself over the wheel for the full effect.

Thinking of having it lowered...

Opinions?

What do anyone have any experiences of Apex springs? Some cheap sets on ebay...?

Any other things I could do to tidy it up? Rear wiper? Stubby aerial etc?

That needs a Sport back box and bumper for full effect - the exhaust gives it away more than anything at the mo.

And the wheels... I used to run various Vauxhall sleepers, generally running on the steels from 2 litre Cavaliers (fairly wide, so you didn't lose out on handling etc), and with cheap aftermarket hubcaps for full 'sleeper' visual effect. ;-)

I think the best one I had was a Daewoo Nexia with full Mk2 Astra Champion leather and a tuned C20XE under the bonnet. :)

If you have it lowered, it'll be more obvious it's not the cooking model you want it to appear to be?

Once I've done at least 15 posts I can put up a pic of the rear end of the Sport I bought today, which has been made to look very understated. :)

Anyway, in summary the previous owner has debadged it, and removed the rear wiper.

These mods coupled with the way the exhaust is hidden away under the bumper on the Sport, make for something quite anonymous IMHO.

They've also fitted a black debadged grille to the front.

I think it's very understated and I'm well pleased with it.

Just need to get a remap sorted now.

Love what you have done. i am trying to keep my pre-facelift leon cupra like this. have considered replacing the rear bumer for sx and getting custom hidden exhaust, think it helps that i look really young anyway
