Thanks Leigh for sorting the picture :D

Cars got to go back to the dealers on Tuesday to have some warrenty work done :( few minor jobs, like the electric folding wing mirrors that do no work, for some reason i have a leather passenger headrest??? (all the rest are cloth) which is being sorted (i didnt notice this till i got home and the dealer is a good hours drive) also keeps flashing service when i start the car, they are going to reset that.
Theres some scratches ive found aswell that they are going to look at and an odd rattling sound from the back.

Yeah - better get used to the rattles, they come free and standard on the leon.

You are lucky they are sorting these after taking the car home. I have had a right old struggle with a couple of bits I have found after taking the car home, and is difficult to get these done, although got back this afternoon from having a couple of bits done. (not all I wanted mind).

Still glad to have the LCR back safe and sound.

heh well im not banking on them sorting some of the problems as when i viewd the car the first time i pointed out a few things i wanted sorting before i took it home, and when i went to collect it the chap gave me some stories, and i brought them as usual (i was too excited about taking it home i think lol).

Like it had a couple of rusty bolts under the bonnet that were holding the lights in place, ive had some troubles on some of my other cars in the past with rusty bolts, having to drill the head off etc so i told him to replace them. And It had some mats that were grey with red chequer design inside the car, he said he would replace. But when i collected the car he said the service guys had looked at the bolts, and that they had taken them off and put them back on again, no problems. And the mats are apparently Cupra R special mats?

Think they just tell you what you want to hear... until you go and see them. But im going to put up a fuss about them when i take it down on Tuesday if they say they cant do anything, especially with this head rest. Looks stupid now i know its there.

That is definately what they play on - they know how excited you are to drive off in the car and in the heat of the moment you overlook things. Its not until you get home it sinks in.... happened exactly the same to me.

The leather head rest is not standard and I would be surprised if they did not fix this - just be persistent as in my mind this is not an unreasonable request at all.

Good luck with it:)

Lovely motor...I think as long as you inform them immediately of the faults then they should fix them.

Yea when i picked it up the chap said he would phone within 5 days to make sure everything was ok with the car.. i phoned him an hour after i was home :) with the problems.

As a lady I would like to say two things.

1.) Black is best. So well done D$N BK. Excellent choice. :worship:

2.) As a female, any time you go into a garage(even for something simple) you get fed a load of flannel. Welcome to your glimpse of a womans world. at lease now you've spotted the problems and can work on getting them sorted.
