the oo7p makes loads better sound than the split-r i get loads of chatter now t=with the open cone filter. the braket and breather filter are going on next week when i fit the intercooler, havnt got a clue what the power is gonna get it RR after stage 2 remap.

I fitted my seat sport intercooler with forge hoses last week. Then got a stage 2 remap with a 4bar fuel reg fitted at AmD yesterday! 244.5bhp with 305.9lb/ft witch wasn't bad figures me thinks

hello mate the power is a lot of fun only got it done saturday so i havn't had chance 2 really test it. yeh i've seen that mk5 they tried putting pressure on me

next on the list is
brembo gt brake conversion or porsche calipers
rear arb
quaife LSD
sach clutch
Then 300bhp
Theres a couple of us going 2 santa pod in october i think hoping 2 get around the low 14s!

did you get your 4bar fpr through amd or else where as from amd they seem quite pricey compared to else where.

haha yeh you will prob see me about no doubt, i got my 4bar from amd it was just easier the car defo seems louder now aswell

unsure wether or not to go to amd or else where.
do you know where that guy with the leon went for his mapping the one with i believe he said 300 odd bhp?
whats your map like is it aggressive or progressive?

my mate with the leon had the remap on it when he bought it so i have no idea its just short of 300bhp i believe, my map is progressive from about 2500rpm right round 2 the redline!

thanks mate i'll get 1 ordered i hope its going 2 be enough. i s**t myself when the right side of my engine dropped on 2 the drive shaft i must of been doing about 70

that dont sound to pleasent,how come you have gone through so many clutches? (to many visits to santa pod) or are you running even more power now?
i cant believe the speed of the progress on your car ive only just ordered my turbo back exhaust.
just looking at your torque figures 305.9lb/ft is rather a lot for a standard clutch most people dont go beyond 300 on here with standard clutch.

I know its alot of clutches isnt it, after i compleated stage 2 my standard clutch started 2 slip so i changed it 4 a vr6 clutch with g60 flywheel witch was recommended by AMD but it started slipping more . So went 4 a sachs clutch with g60 flywheel but still no joy didn't slip but smelt like it did so ended up having a helix clutch witch was fitted 2day as far seems 2 be fine all done curtacy of AMD

where are you getting your exhaust fitted?? you will love it when its fitter big smiles

Thanks mate yeah it goes like stink now really happy with it now the clutch is sorted.
