pilot hid failure

one of my hid's has given up, not sure if its the bulb or the ballast yet, anyone else had any problems with them?

not sure how you would cahnge the bulb either as its all mouled to the grommet?

From Hids4u? Contact em as they might be under warranty. I was under the impression they are supposed to work for bloody ages

they wiil be a year old next week so should be covered, will check connections too

ive checked it all now and its the ballast at fault

They offer a deposit return if you can't wait. I think its £50 from the last time i used them, new one was with me the next day, sent mine back - money was back with me 2 days later. I used paypal for handling the payment.

Ian is a very nice bloke and his customer service for a small home run business is first rate.

ive noticed he doesnt sell the pilot kit anymore, i hpoe they dont have lots of problems as the warenty is up in a few weeks on my set.

I had pilot in my previous car for over a year with no problems and this one is a pilot kit too - one faulty ballast replaced under warranty and has been fine since. If they go out of warranty i'll replace them with hella ballasts.
