G, is this for the Fiat, or the Ibiza? I'm sure once I've set mine up and I know it works I won't mind lending it out.

Anyway

remembered at 4pm I had an immobile car on the drive, so thought I'd best stick some bits on

Exhaust fitment is 'interesting' but the back box & centre section are all on and bolted up, it's just about 3" short of the cat.... so I'll have to make up some scaffold tube to bridge that gap, handy given that the two are meant to slide over each other, so it'll have to be stepped.

no swages or anything over the rear beam, so it's a decent bore all the way through, the 1.6 one is comedy, I joke not when I say it is squashed to about 15mm over the axle.....

tailpipe exits straight out the rear, through the valence, so I did what I do best, used my favourite tool (angle grinder) to cut the trim enough, then rammed the tailpipe home fully expecting it to melt it's way into position when it's hot :)

To be fair hes not bad with a angle grinder, just likes to sheer of bolts when removing bumpers and snapping securing clips off of air box`s. :p:lol:

...the assembled one ready to fit into the car?...
Assembled MegaSquirt's available from http://www.extraefi.co.uk/ in the UK - but when compared to the price of a DIY kit from the states, it ain't cheap.

Before seriously considering going down the road of programmable ecu's, I'd suggest having a read up on the subject - this is a pretty good primer http://www.amazon.co.uk/Engine-Mana...9994329?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1180259102&sr=1-1 though at times it reads like an extended advert for the Emerald M3DK ECU...

ECU's here, the kit is excellent - and the wiring loom is spot on. all individually labelled in the wire.

well labelled up etc, so won't take too long to assemble at all.
