Hi Everyone

Brought my 2003 Cupra 210 on Sunday and all i can say is i wish i'd got one instead of my honda ctr a long while ago, you can't even compare them!! :D

Any how, i seem to have slighty camp brake calipers, the two back ones are slightly pink! I've seen some brake caliper paint on e-bay and was wondering if this is easy enough to do myself (i'm not very good at anything practical!!) Eg, rubbing down etc? Has anybody done theirs?

Thanks

Mark

I agree t-cut helps, especially if you use the colour coded Red T-cut colour restorer not the original.

If all else fails buy folia tech heat resistant caliper paint, comes with special cleaning solution.

I think the problem is different...The two front calipers are shiney and not a matt finish like the back ones. On closer inspection the front ones are flakeing and it looks like a laquer of some description has been sprayed on them. Where they are flakeing i rubbed parts off and the matt red is underneath??

1. Should they be shiney or Matt?

2. if they should be matt as the back ones are, how do i remove the laquer safely??

Thanks!!
