polished bonnet lifters

You want the Mk3 Polo ones to be precise !! About £20 I reckon !

I just thought since the mk3 is on a golf floor plan, the golf ones might fit, and there was a set on ebay going for a tenner ah well, £20 will do.

ibiza are on a polo floor. the length og the lifters are just the same i yhink but the are m8 bolts in the golf set.did bay for polo 6n first time m8 bolts then got the polo mk3 lifters m6 bolts just what you need so been there done that to dobel prize

really, had a set on my Ibiza, and they were fine

on a different note, the lifters that fit the ibiza, do they fit the Leon, or are they completely different....all be it the Leon only uses one lifter

mine are holding up fine. no rust or owt. had em on since about late jan/early feb

will see in another 6 months

Thinking of getting some of these and spraying them... may stop the rust problems aswell.

checked mine other day fella.

Been on since about early feb, and noticed some slight rust on the "fatter" piece at the edge where the other bit slides in

Ive given up and sprayed mine aluminium silver now. Fed up of them rusting all the time, like 4 sets of them now.

Mine look awful, had them on about a year, and the whole main body is covered in rust.

Might do the same (copy cat I know).

I still have some Hammerite Smooth Right that I used to spray the Brembos

Mine started rusting at the top of the wider part about a month or so after fitting!

yay!

might even spray black. Going for similar look as ian_cupra's engine bay. Powdercoat the inlet mani, rocker and charge pipe black, then have red hoses

I sprayed mine the same colour as the main body when I got sick of looking at the rusty things. They're now 'Black Magic'.
