Poorboys wheel sealant on matt black wheels??

Will this be ok to use on wheels with a matt finish?

I dont want to make them shine at all, i just want to protect them from brake dust, etc.

It's not really a polish so it shouldn't make it shine as such, try it on a small area first and see what results you get. Hard to say for sure really.

Try a test area first. It shouldnt make them shine but if it does then try a liquid based pure sealant.

I've not actually bought the poorboys stuff yet, so if there's something else that you can recommend that would be great????

I've used it on my wheels (only once so far) and I never really noticed if it made them "shine" as such they just looked very clean. It only takes a very short space of time before the wheels are filthy again because the dirt really sticks to the protective layer that the sealant produces, mega easy to clean off though, a simple sponge with warm water is good enough.

I use poorboys wheel sealent on my satin black wheels and its fine.

I've used it on matt black wheels and it didn't really add much in terms of shine, so you should be fine.

3 layers is best in terms of durability/optimal performance.

let us know what you use or pics ? i'm looking for somethign to cover over matt paint to make it easier to clean the damn finger marks off it

I put Poorboys on my wheels last weekend and i didn't notice any difference in the finish at all.
