Is there anywhere to buy the boot bumpers online

I posted a link further up buddy... Found out they are single units so it's nearly 15 quid for 2 with p&p...

Only £5.50 from my local VW dealer, made it worth the trip, despite it still not working 100%.

Now 3 clicks from fully compressed, ill keep trying though.

Is that each? Did you just ask for Scirocco boot bumpers?

So can any one confurm the parts need for a 06 one guys

This is what i have gathered from the many threads around:

Pre-Facelift

2 x 6Y0 827 550 C - Fabia Struts
2 x 1K8 827 761 C - Scirocco Bumpers
2 x 1J6 827 439 A - Strut Ball Pins

Facelift

2 x 1U6 827 550 F - Octavia Struts
2 x 1K8 827 761 C - Scirocco Bumpers (works without these, but these would give it an extra push)

Facelift model does not require strut ball pins if using the Octavia struts.
Beware the boot will be harder to shut.

Hope that helps!

From what i gather the fabia ones are fine for the pre-facelift but not for the revised FL models (open too short as you say).

Im guessing the ball pins used on the fabia ones are slightly different hence the need for them where as the Octavia ones are straight swap.

So Fabia ones are long enought ?

From what i gather on the Pre-FL the Fabia ones are long enough.

So is it mk1 Octavia ones with spoiler

The FL ones are Mk1 Octavia Struts.

Ive ordered mine from SGS Engineering. They do both models and people have had good quality stuff from them (much cheaper then TPS).

edit: I couldnt find the fabia ones on SGS site. So maybe from TPS only. If you used the Octavia ones on yours they maybe a bit too long and harder to get back down.

Can you get these 1K8 827 761 C - Scirocco Bumpers anywhere other than direct at dealers? Ordered the struts already.

Post 271 buddy but it's not that cheap lol

Got them for myself and it hasn't had any issues so far....
