yeah fair enough, but spacers also improve handling (as the rear track is 41mm or something close to 40mm shorter on the rear then the front)

just ordered some G60 steels from VW they are still available. when you look at the parts catalouge there are 2 pictures of steels. one has the circle holes, and looks like the 14" mk2 golf gti steel, these are what are reffered to as passat winter wheels.

the G60 steels are not perfect circles. and not cheap. £172 all in at trade counter
( the other steels on the picture are £143 )

yeah from the dealer, could of saved my self around £15 if id got them from ebay but its faffing about with delivery and that. simply pop to VW tomorrow and collect.

going to roll the ibiza on them just for mot and whilst i sort the alloys and tyres on, and then they are going on my mk2 golf,

its all part of the masterplan

im currently furbing' a set of the 14s, hoping they will look ok if i can wind the car down a fair bit. 14" tyres are a lot more cash than 15s though, wounder!
