I'm 99% sure that dubmeister (where I got mine from) will only do standard length ones. I'd imagine that's why they get sent so quick.
Nope - it's German mate. The key giveaway is the the '0' - it's got the slash cut out on it.

Dubmeister will do shorter ones if you ask them specially

I wouldn't worry too much about the spacing - the fonts not legal so they'll get you for that first.

I definetely aint got UK font then. Well i dont think i have. Sometimes i look at my plates and it looks like they are then other times they arent. Im pretty sure they are german font tho!

http://www.dubmeister.co.uk and http://www.platemyride.com/sim_euro.php do shorter plates. not sure how much shorter the dubmeister ones are though as it doesnt say. plate my ride has a nice sim where there are a few differnt sizes if you wanted to see what it would look like.
On my way back tonight was stopped at a crossroads and a police car pulled down the road I was on. Both the officers looked at the front plate and just drove on, didn't even bother.
