You're also missing the online connectivity icon from the top right near the clock. I suspect a telematics reset might be required. You could also try a factory reset in the MIB yourself, but it could fail due to the lack of back end server communication.
I know there is a version higher on VW but I'll have to check if it's been released on Cupra tomorrow when I'm back in the office. If you DM me your VIN I can check if it's applicable to your car.
Thanks for your help. Last week I suggested to the dealership a software reset was required but they said try Cupra Connect first.
You are right first thing I tried was factory reset which didn't work.
Don't know if you noticed also the last two icons on page 2 have had the loading symbol since day one.
It appears that your vehicle will benefit from Cupra's PV2.2 update package.
That will take the infotainment software level from 2460 to 2565.
There is also advice regarding the lack of globe icon in the MIB and there being no online connectivity. The remedy for that issue is also the PV2.2 update suite.
Just got my car back.. I eventually got a reply from Cupra Connect with instruction to the workshop to repair the system. Coupled with that and your suggestion the reply from Cupra after diagnostics was, and I quote, "Postpone the repair. Do not attempt repair!". Apparently this is an unusual occurrence.
