Megs towel was from halfords, about 12-13quid I think, but worth the money.

Done a few bits and bobs since I last posted. Got coilovers sat waiting to go on, now have a subwoofer in the boot, sprayed the interior handles, and is ready for springfest tomorrow!

Right, bit of an update needed me thinks!

Since the last update I have

Finished the Sub
Sprayed the handles
Sprayed the all under-bonnet caps
Broken the car's sunglasses
silver front indicator bulbs
de-wipered the rear
painted front brakes
Lowered it
spaced it
new wheels
gone back to original air box (smoothed, waiting for a greenfilter to go in)

I will sort some pics out and chuck them up

Then came the lowering, which I had a few little niggles with, had the wrong springs on the front, then the top mounts needed replacing. So the fronts were off and on 3 times!

Cheers, they are coilovers made by TA Technix (same as hottuning), I got them from eBay. Im not sure exactly what drop it is as I forgot to measure it before hand, but I think its around 60mm front and 80mm rear

Whats your opinion on the coilovers mate?? Alright for everyday or abit hard?

I use it everyday, I find it fine, didn't think it was much different to standard. But my mate reakons its loads harder. Had them on for a while and the only annoying time was coming along the A50 (stoke-nottingham), theres an awful stretch of road really bumpy.

Mike, cheers, I was thinking all black, but then they would look just like bog standard steels, also the silver gives an illusion of dish

Banded would be ace, some nice 9" wides on the rear! As you said though, V expensive. Also need a certain style to pull banded off I think

Thats alright, it wouldnt bother me as I'm running a uprated shock/spring set and it is slightly harder than standard. Im used to it now.

Thinking of upgrading to a set of coilovers so I can adjust the height.
