Just wondering what kinda quarter mile and 0-60 times people are getting in their Ibiza's, did a search but couldn't find much so thought i'd start a thread :)

So post up your quarter mile and 0-60 times and what mods (if any) you have.

Might be a good idea to post what engine you have too.

I'm just after a few to compare really, been looking around at other cars VTS's and Type R's etc to see what they run, a "good" VTS time appears to be low 15's and a Type R around 14.5ish?

Cheers.

I got an FR TDI dont know quater mile or anything but it is way more fun/ safe/ less chavvy than my VTS plus its much more economical.....oh and has a huuuuuuuuge amount of tourqe!

As for teh CTR loads of people on here say a remapped FR will keep up with one but i dont know from experience

A remapped FR can do mid to high 14's with the right driver. Think T.Spark has done a 14.7 in his and a few others have done it too.
0-60 is generally between 6.5-7.5 seconds again depending on the driver.
A remapped FR can keep up with CTR's but thats generally because a lot of people who drive them cant drive for sh*t. With a good driver behind the wheel the CTR should be quicker. Not by a great deal but noticeably quicker. At the end of the day though its going to cost them twice as much in fuel.

are we talking 20VT or TDI?

from experience remapped 130 TDi's will do 14.7-15 sec @93ishmph

Mid range 30-70 is around th 5.5-6sec mark

with 100 coming up in 17secsish..

a remapped 20VT will be quicker still i reckon mid 14's under 1/4 mile

It's been covered loads and loads of time fella.

went to York Raceway at the weekend, my FR 20vt managed 14.52secs @ 97.9mph
with a 0-60 of 6.30secs, which i was fairly chuffed with. I dont know what anyone else has achieved?

ive clocked my standard fr tdi a few times 0-60mph and each time under 9 secs more like 8.5
so why do seat use 9.5 for the official figures?

Its only been stage one remapped, cone airfilter, tyre pressures at 20front and 40rear & running tesco 99 fuel. Role on next year with a few more changes and it will be in the 13s.:D

Based on 2manyibizas times, reckon my 0-60 should be about 6 or so. Will try getting myself up to the Pod at some point and record some times

well seeing as it kept up with and gained a little on a fairly standard scooby wrx i'd almost be inclined to think it was a little quicker

2 second quicker with just a induction kit and backbox that we know of.

Would love to see this:cartman:

Stats on yours say 10 seconds ish standard.

I know for definite that this "tuning" would not make that difference.

Hi Guys.

Fist time i have run the car on the strip since i had the head done and all i can say is WOW the extra power REALLY helped. most of my times were around the 14.00 mark but i did have a couple of really nice runs but with the weather so hot for most of the day was struggeling big time with intake temps even with my huge FMIc but here was my best time........

5thJuly2009007.jpg

Please forgive the poor quality because it was on a pink slip was a nightmare to get a pic of it. Incase you cant read the pic the numbers are....

Reaction ---- + .4575
60 ft ---- 2.1328
330 ft ---- 5.9080
1/8 ET ---- 9.0023
1/8 MPH ---- 79.56
1000' ET ---- 11.5528
1/4 ET ---- 13.8493
1/4 mph ---- 99.23

I also ran a few 13.9's and my max terminal speed was 102.4 mph. I didnt even completley strip the car out I was running on nangkangs aswell AND there was headwind. I'm looking forward to the next santapod rwyb and I will completley strip the car and run on decent tyres. By then I should have my water/methanol kit aswell so i'm hoping for some even better times. I won the diesel class again 3rd time in a row now.

Anyone else from here run their deisel?
