question for arosa owners

my mum has a 1.0l arosa. 2004. its the 4 cylinder one (i believe they also do a 3 cylinder!?)

basicly i need to know if the car originaly had remote locking as the car currently has an after market bog standard key. im just making her a flip key and wanted to know if i could get remote locking working!?

If the car is fitted with central locking it will have a small red LED by the pop up button on the drivers door. The control unit is mounted to the right of the fuse box behind the dash

I have OEM remote central locking & no red LED.
Think the red LED is if you have an alarm.

We've been asked this question a few weeks ago or was that Dega Vous. Remote locking was an extra so ask a main dealer.

oh rite. i know the polo did a 1.2 3 cyl. thought there was a 1.0 3 cylinder also. but what do i know, im an ibiza boy
