Questions before buying vag-com

1. I usually keep my laptops for about 6 months before changing them, i read on the website that its locked to that specific pc. Could I phone up and re-register with my new laptop?

2. If I decide to buy a legit vag com cable after i purchased a license how much would that cost me?

3. Which version would my license key entitle me to download?

Also which interface is it??!? soo confusing cant you VAG-COM guys put a list of brands and cars and simply 3/4 columns representing cable types and simply put a tick? lol help us peeps out

Interface? In terms of what? Serial or USB? That depends entirely on your computer!

i have a key usb cable where the licence is built into the cable so no matter what laptop or version (unsure about v. old versions) i use its will be fully licenced as soon as i plug my cable in

That's the full VAG-COM version, which is more expensive but worth having if you can afford it. With the current exchange rates the price of it is looking much better!
