quick help needed...

at work not able to search so I'm sorry, typing this with it off the screen so excuse any mistakes....dam boss has an eagle eye!

engine is shaking at high revs and I have just put two and two together and I think it's a misfire....as at recent RR day coiuld smell CAT and the shaking of the block at high revs, also sometimes bit of a judder pulling away.

how do you test which coil pack it is? engine code AUQ. replaced sparks about 2k miles ago so shudnt b them right?

it may not be the sparks, but seeing you have to remove the coil packs to do them it still may be the cause.
Often after removing and replacing the coil packs can be damaged.

or... they can rise up after a while after refitting.
Id suggest you check they are all seated correctly, fully down etc.

what plugs you used?

ngk platinum things cnt remember exactly, same as what come out tho.

i did have that problem of rising up again for a little while after but now they are all pushed down. how can you tell if a spark plug is bust?

how do i check which pack(s) are dead?
