right plz dont flame and stuff i have had a search but couldnt find much on it..
so far i have a forge 007 dv cat back exhaust and pipercross viper on my cupra i am getting the revo stage 1 remap when i get the notes and was going to get the fmic off ebay the uni one but is it worth getting the remap first then saving for the fmic or get the fmic then save for the remap is there any gains to be had with the fmic with the standard power before the remap or will it just looe boost because of the increse in core size etc..?

you might be best waiting, as you may be able to get stage 2 map with the FMIC on, so could be worth waiting mate

yea could do that although stage 2 cost more aswell but if i was to do that mite aswell get the turbo upgrade aswell and the rest and go for the 240-250 bhp mark.
will it run the same with the uni fmic on standard map or better because of lower temps. altho the stage 1 will suit me at the moment for blastin round the roads where i live.

you'll be fine with a stage 1 map and uprated cooler, but obviously you won't reap all the benefits till its mapped for it, but you will benefit from a uprated fmic

cheers mate that settled then. i recon its prob better to lob all the bits on i want then get it mapped once then poss have to have it done again when i add stuff anyway i just wasnt sure if it would loose boost pressure or somthing because of the increased core size with the standard boost...

you should wait till you get the fmic on as it will help keep boost throughout your higher rev range

imo if you get the fmic on and get a 4 bar FPR (and actually you also need a larger free flowing diameter DP) , then you're ready for stage 2. will get you around the 220hp mark. Then if you ever do decide on a K03s for example then you could have a small 're-flash' to get the new turbo in, which will cost you much less if you go to the same place you went to first.
