Man that is a bad mess, glad you came out ok though, and like you said the insurance claim & donor engine can go towards a worthy mk2 project....a real nice sleeper you will have when its done!

well cheers for the sympathy lads, the winter is def gonna consist of project mk2 turbo for me depending on the outcome with the insurance.

have to find myself a nice cheap 1.2 puddle jumper to last me the winter first thou. i'm thinking about another wee fiesta zetec, that was one of the better cars i've had over the years!!!

cheap and cheerful is the order of the day i reckon!!!!

any parts that are salvageable and not required for the grand plan will be advertised on here first before they see ebay so you lads will get first shout!!

**** a 4x4 panda, tried one of those before they are ****ing shite!!!! they are not designed for 110mph, tried and tested!!!! ha ha transfer boxes drop outta them!!!! lol

been looking into an fia approved roll cage for the golf now u mention it, amazing how nervous a crash like that will make ya!!!

oh and no changer, some **** stole mine before i got my car.
