Can I suggest you get yourself on Ebay and pick up a copy of Elsawin? OK, it's probably not an 'official' copy, but at least then you can get details for your exact car.

You have a Mk.1 Toledo. It is based on the Mk.2 Golf platform. The appropriate Haynes manual might be 3097? This does not cover all the engines that were fitted to the Mk.1 Toledo though.

What engine and gearbox do you have fitted?
