Haha yeah I know, but if I mention the brand of map that I have everyone will scold me! It was done by the previous owner and not a company that I would have chosen....

I'm not comparing the maps with faulty hardware. I had it on the rollers two weeks before I went to nicks and I pulled good figures there on the apr map.i asked if everything was ok when they roaded and they said yes. That nearly cost me a new engine. I just wanted to highlight the professionalism he shows and how nothing was to difficult to solve. we all have fears of letting someone else work on your car but after seeing how he operates im 100% reassured his work is top noch

Yeah can't wait run meth, it's just going to be used as an additive more than a extra mod. Just going have sort a tank out now and seal my washer bottle.

I don't suppose you spoke to him about meth whilst you were there? As I saw a post recently where he might have said to someone not to use quantum screen wash as it does nothing for power increase and to use pure meth and distilled water instead?

TPS/Quantum Screenwash is utterly pointless. It does absolutely nothing for performance aside from cool the IAT. I've done extensive logging and testing myself over the last few months.... It's not that i don't trust Niki, but i like to try/figure things out for myself. Niki has been widely publicising this for months as he probably sees it fairly frequently.

I'm currently running a 60:40 mix with de-ionised water and it is so much better. So much in fact that i am able to turn the timing up another '2' on the Revo software which is usually reserved for 100+ Octane race fuel. I'm running a considerable amount of timing now with no CF (timing pull) at all in the higher rpm, with only a tiny bit at lower rpm before the WMI activates.

Given how cheap the Meth and de-ionised water is, it's a no brainer.

Cheers for the info Dan, unlucky for me I brought 10 bottles a while bk. guess I won't need buy any for the next few years lol. Where have u been getting your meth and water from.im hoping in the next few weeks I'll be running mine. Would be interesting to see it on the rollers again to see if it does gain any power.

I bought about 4 at the time and still have a couple left - my own fault for jumping on the bandwagon!

Bought my Meth from a chemical supplier through eBay as i couldn't find a local supplier willing to sell it to me at the time. Need to get round to looking before i run out of my current supply. It's a lot cheaper to collect than have it delivered though!

De-ionised water i had delivered by Eurocarparts as it was cheaper for them to deliver 10 litres to my door than it was for me to drive down to them and collect it

Devils Own kit for me, only a basic kit with a 6-30 psi switch. Very helpful answering questions to make sure you get everything you need for your install

I run50/50 (volume based) straight meth with tap water. Meth is from jenny chems I also noticed when logging the quantum it did nothing (bar clean) the inlet valves

I'm running the same, Devils own basic kit.when u ring he just asks your what car your running it on and what stage of mods for the nozzle size. Just spoke to nick, I'm going get it booked bk in so we all will be able to see the difference with it on. Let's hope it helps for £300ish worth of mod
